Pollo Campero, the authentic Latin chicken chain, plans to continue celebrating its “little” addition to the menu with a two-week fundraiser benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island. Ten percent of all Camperitos sales were donated to support Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission, totaling $1,500.00.
In addition to the fundraiser, Pollo Campero is celebrating all Big Brothers Big Sisters’ “Bigs” and staff by providing them with a free Camperitos meal during the month of November.
“Camperitos are an exciting product for us because we get to offer our customers our traditional bone-in flavor in 100% breast meat boneless bites”, said Federico Valiente, Senior Marketing Manager. “We’re equally excited about our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters since it’s such a great match with our brand—family is extremely important to us and they do a great job at making their Little Brothers and Sisters feel like family.”
“We are honored that Pollo Campero has chosen Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island as their charity partner for the launch of their new menu item, Camperitos,” said Jamison Skala, Director of Development. Thanks to donations from companies like Pollo Campero, BBBSLI is able to provide 1-to-1 mentoring services to more children across Long Island.”
Camperitos are made with 100% white meat, seasoned and breaded. The shareable, boneless bites full of Campero’s traditional flavor start at $2.99. Camperitos are available as an appetizer, individual meal or as a family bundle. All orders of Camperitos come with a choice of creamy cilantro sauce or sweet chipotle sauce.
The Latin American restaurant has a Huntington Station location, as well as in Brentwood, Hempstead, Queens, and Central Islip.
