Reflections on Superstorm Sandy on its One-Year Anniversary

October 29 marks the one-year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy, which prompted the largest emergency management operation in the Town of Huntington’s history. Superintendent of Highways William Naughton, whose crews removed more than 530,000 yards of debris that clogged town roadways following the storm, reflected on the calamitous event this week.

Party Time in Huntington Station

As reported earlier today on VillageTattler, Suffolk County Police have arrested a man for hosting a party with more than 500 attendees in an unoccupied warehouse in Huntington Station last night.

Second Precinct police officers responded to a 911 call regarding a party in a warehouse behind 1026 New York Ave., at 10:30 p.m.
