Man Arrested for DWI After Crashing Into Unoccupied Parked Vehicles in Huntington Village

Suffolk County Police arrested a Huntington man for driving while intoxicated after his vehicle struck multiple cars that were parked and unoccupied early this morning.

James Miller was driving a 2004 Land Rover SUV in the Town of Huntington municipal parking lot when he lost control of the vehicle and struck two parking signs and eight unoccupied vehicles, causing damage to several of them at 12:35 a.m.

Second Precinct patrol officers arrested Miller, 23, and charged him with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated. He was also issued a summons for driving without a license. Miller, of 40 Platt Place, Huntington, will be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.

There were no injuries in the crash.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

    EIGHT parked cars? In a PARKING LOT?? How in hell did this imbecile even manage to walk to his Land Rover and get the key in the ignition? Oh, but maybe he was drinking WHILE driving; that’s probably how he lost his license in the first place. Did he at least have insurance??
