UPDATE: Parsin Kaur has been located unharmed.
The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert regarding a disabled woman who suffers from dementia.
Parsin Kaur, age 81, left a dialysis center, located at 256 Broadway Ave., Huntington Station, before her ambulance service arrived to transport to her home on Verbena Court in Hicksville.
Kaur, who is from India, is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 120 pounds and has grey hair which was pulled up in a ponytail. Kaur, who walks with a cane, was wearing light-grey traditional Indian clothing, a white shirt, sneakers and a brown shawl on her head.
Anyone with information on her location is requested to contact the Fugitive/Missing Persons Section at 631-852-6040.
As a reminder, the Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have gone missing.
