Two Suffolk County Police Second Precinct officers revived a man who was not breathing in Huntington Station this morning.
Second Precinct Police Officers Angela Ferrara and Eileen Nieves responded to a home on Sandra Court in Huntington Station for an aided call regarding a male who was not breathing at 8:50 a.m.
The officers utilized an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) which was unsuccessful. The officers then administered an IV and the victim’s breathing and heart rate were restored.
The man was transported to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community Ambulance. The officers are members of MEDCAT (Medical Crisis Action Team).
