Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk Police Second Precinct Crime Section are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who took a Structure watch from the Sears store located at 4000 Jericho Turnpike in Elwood.
On Monday, November 28, 2011, at approximately 4:00 PM, an unidentified tall, black male wearing a red shirt placed a Structure watch in his pocket and left the store without paying for the item. The subject was confronted by a Sears employee outside the store and was brought back into the store. Once inside, the subject fled on foot and created a disturbance inside the store. The watch was recovered at the scene.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
