Need Help Dealing With Difficult Colleagues?

The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce Education Committee will present “Dealing With Difficult Colleagues in the Workplace,” a workshop which will take place on Wednesday, September 21 from 8 – 10 a.m. at Mac’s Steakhouse, located at 12 Gerard Street in Huntington. This program is part of the ongoing Educational Series presented by the Chamber during 2011.

This seminar, facilitated by Mark Fogel, Chief Human Resources Officer, Marcum, LLP, will include special guests sharing their expertise and insights on how to navigate work in a difficult environment and work towards a happier and healthier workplace.  This morning of discussion will include: Workplace conflict affects your bottom line and your reputation; how is your behavior misinterpreted?; do your co-workers undermine you?; and is the thought of going to work everyday upsetting you?

The goal of the panel is to create awareness and give valuable information and resources for anyone who may be experiencing such situations.

“The Education Committee workshops are designed to provide our Chamber members with effective tools and provides a wealth of knowledge,” said Robert Bontempi, Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce Chairman. “The information presented during this informative workshop should give those in attendance a better perspective on how to make their work environment a happier and healthier place.”

This event is free for Chamber members and $10 for non-members. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well. For more information or reservations, visit www.huntingtonchamber.com or call (631) 423-6100.
