Detectives are asking anyone with information to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
Suffolk County Police Major Case Investigations Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at a TD Bank branch in Commack this morning.
A man entered the bank, located at 6190 Jericho Turnpike, at 9:07 a.m. and approached a teller with a note stating that he had a gun and demanding cash. The teller complied with the robber’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The man fled west on Jericho Turnpike.
The robber is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male with a slim build and approximately 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a baseball cap with a Yankees logo, a black hooded-sweatshirt and white and dark sneakers.
