On Saturday March 5th at the Walt Whitman Birthplace State Historic Site, children of all ages will enjoy a performance of soft and hard shoe Irish dancing by students from the Mulvihill-Lynch Studio of Irish Dance, known regionally, nationally and internationally as champions on the competitive circuit. The award-winning dancers will also interact with the children by actually teaching them some Irish dance steps! Find out if Irish dancing is in your future! Hear the fascinating history of the dances and costumes. Afterwards, children may wish to have their face painted with Irish cheer or take a guided tour of the Walt Whitman Birthplace.
