RICHARD CAMERON, 7pm. Long Island author RICHARD CAMERON will speak about and sign his new book, Famous People Who Dropped Dead. Throughout time, we have heard of many famous individuals who have actually, literally dropped dead. They did not just die or pass away; these individuals dropped dead, probably with a thud. Here now is a factual compilation of several famous people who did just that, including: Presidents Calvin Coolidge and Lyndon B. Johnson; mafia bosses Carlo Gambino and Lucky Luciano; Nassau County Police Commissioner Donald F. Kane; author Donald Westlake….and soooooo many more. Richard Cameron started compiling clippings about famous people who dropped dead in the 1990’s, thinking this would make an interesting book. Cameron did not see a book on this subject anywhere, so he decided to write one himself. He does not have an obsession with famous people dropping dead; he truly believes there are people who would want to read about this subject.–Richard Cameron was a well known portrait/wedding/Bar Mitzvah/event photographer for twenty-seven years and a videographer of events as well for over twenty years. He has degrees in photography and communications and majored in photo journalism at C.W. Post-L.I.U. He has a novel in production and is a member of the Long Island Writer’s Guild.
