Congressman (D-NY) Steve Israel walked the streets of Huntington Village today. He took plenty of time to chat with community members and shake hands. Congressman Israel has been working for the Town of Huntington since he served on the Town Board from 1993 to 2001. He currently represents New York State’s 2nd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is up for re-election this coming November. Congressman was all smiles as he enjoyed our beautiful town and friendly residents. He even popped into Little Vincent’s Pizzeria and grabbed a couple of slices of some of Huntington’s finest pie.

Steve who?? I hope he saw the John Gomez for Congress sign on my front lawn!
Gomez for congress!
Steve who’s nickname in Washington is the Prince. He just loves the national and Hollywood scene. We in Huntington have become boring to him.
Heard he is in town to give a press conference due to his outrage over the flooding and road repair in Halesite.
surprise he remembered where it was.
he is part of the local and national problems
As election time approaches he shows up. I called his office 3 time during the JAI fiasco and they never returned my call. He lost my vote.
I emailed him about the JA situation to ask why he has not been to any meetings or even visited the area. I eventually received a reply that among other things said that he made an “unpublicized visit to the JA area.” Please..since when does our congressman do anything that is unpublicized. He is obvious tired of being a congressmen ..just like he was tired of being town board member and wants more.(ie:NY Senator) Hope when he does run his constituents remeber that he was MIA when it counted in HS.
Wants to see Huntington for the last time as a Congressman.
