Holy cow! looks like Bottles and Cases is giving away freebies!
NY Yankees catcher made a quick trip to town Saturday afternoon to spend some time signing bottles of his signature wine at Bottles and Cases on East Main Street. The bottle signing benefited The Jorge Posada Foundation, which advocates the early diagnosis and treatment of Craniosynostosis as well as provides financial support to families of children diagnosed with the condition. The VT had its crack paparazzi photog staff on hand.**Click on photos to enlarge**

Ever seen a crowd like this lined up in a liquor store for SIGNATURES???

The line ran uphill past Fort Hill Seafood. Those with lawn chairs were envied by the rest.

Better than free samples, NY Yankee Jorge Posada would soon be here to sign bottles of his signature wine.

There were some imposters on hand, but easy for the trained eye to dismiss as fakes.

This lucky Yankee fan is wearing a coveted blue band confirming that he is number 101 in line and guaranteed to go home with Jorge's signature! Something about his body language tipped us off that he wan't thrilled about spending an entire afternoon in a lawn chair on Fort Hill Road.
jorge left early that’s y he’s not team captian
That’s an adult giving the finger…role model for future America. Poor sportmanship!
It was so rushed was not funny. You would think since it is for charity that you could purchase a couple of bottles- not so. The picture taking was so fast, not even sure if I was looking. They should have called it a drive by. I think it was poorly planned.
lets hope jorge plans better for next time. he is a class act who handle the situation badly. not his normal mode of operation. yankees!
