Be happy fellow Huntingtonians, for no longer will those prosciutto, basil and mozzarella pannini’s have to be eaten with backsides cooking on the hot summer sidewalk while streams of dripping olive pool and sizzle on the concrete. Mr. Sausage in Huntington has provided some shade and comfort for their customers with a nice little umbrella and seating area alongside their store along New York Avenue .

Currently Mr. Sausage closes up at 7PM but with summer coming they are planning on extending that for another hour or so. Owner Sal Bandanza is happy to accommodate special orders ,whether you are with a big or small group just call ahead for lunch or dinner and let him know that you are coming over.

We got the inside scoop on what this Italian sausage stallion has up his sleeve, and it’s not a salami. Plans have been approved to add on upstairs where Sal is looking to build out a terrace for an enclosed dining area that will be perfect for year round feasting.
In addition to their cranking take out and catering menu the sandwiches are fanatstic. If your heading out for a day on the boat, beach, ball field or home from college and looking for your 1PM breakfast, we recommend that you grab some of their awesomely satisfying sandwiches, pannini’s or heroes that are made up with fresh bread and ingredients any way you like. If you are a fan of authentic Italian food you’ll be happy that you stopped in because Mr. Sausage is the real deal.
