Friday, April 2

Easter Egg Hunt. At Approximately 11:00AM, Heckscher Park (ball field area) in Huntington will be filled with eggs and screaming, running and giggling children as they gather up as many eggs as possible. Children must be accompanied by an adult and bring their own bag or basket to gather up their loot. Remember just because you may act like a child you really should be 12 and under to participate in the hunt. This event is FREE and sponsored by the Town of Huntington

Saturday, April 3

Egg Hunt and More. Hosted by the Cold Spring Harbor Lions Club, egg hunting, egg races, jelly bean counting and prizes for children age 12 and younger accompanied by an adult, 10:00 AM. Free. EASTER BUNNY PLANS BREAKFAST & EGG HUNT AT VANDERBILT MUSEUM The Easter Bunny and his friend Li’l Chick are inviting children of all ages from across Long Island to join them for breakfast and fun at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum. The Vanderbilt’s long-standing spring event draws multi-generational family groups each year. The morning offers lots of fun as well as a good opportunity to shoot delightful video or photos for the family album. The day includes: Bunny Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. Egg Hunt in the Vanderbilt Rose Garden (weather permitting) Basket and Bonnet Parade, Games,Photos and video with Bunny and Li’l Chick. Special, breathtaking Planetarium show, “A Trip to the Planets,” at 10:15 a.m. Tickets: Adults $30, $25 for members; children $18, $15 for members.
